R.E.A.D. - Read, Eat and Discuss! A group of ladies who love to read and discuss books and, of course, snack.  Meetings are held in members' homes, mostly in the Arlington area.

This group is for anyone who loves happily ever afters (with a whole lot of struggle). The books that warm our hearts and burn our panties. This group is to know there are more authors than the ones on the New York Times best sellers listing. Me personally, I'm tired of not having friends that read. I'd like to meet people who read what I do and are willing to share their thoughs and offer suggestions to new authors, fictional boyfriends and all around great love story.

Good people reading good (and sometimes bad) books. I was surprised by the lack of book clubs in Fort Worth, so I decided to start one. We will read a mixture of fiction and nonfiction books and will meet at different locations around Fort Worth until we decide on a home-base location. Here's the deal: Every other week, we meet up and randomly pick a "seed" sentence from a newspaper, website, sign, fortune cookie, whatever.
