Our mission is to support one another and fellows hip with others who share a common entity; reading. We don't have a particular genre that we stick to because we want to expose ourselves to as much as we possibly can and we feel that the more variety we have, the more we learn. We do, however, read book written primarily by and about African American's and others of African decent but are open to reading almost anything. Our BC is primarily women but it is also open to men.

We are a group that gets together every two weeks in the south Charlotte area to discuss great fiction/non-fiction books, socialize with locals and have great conversation. We meet at various locations around the Southpark, Ballantyne and Arboretum areas. We typically will read one book in a four week period.
