This Meetup group is devoted to people who simply love books and enjoy discussing them. We come together monthly with other book lovers to discuss a pre-selected book but we include time for an open format when you can discuss any book you are currently reading and would like to tell the group about it. Any book is fair game, we just want to know what you like about it and why.

AAMCA is a group of black men 50 and older who participate in cultural events such as book discussions, movies, plays, musical performances, trips, and other activities. I started the group for a completely selfish reason: to meet and hang out with other mature African American men. We're not the easiest demographic to meet!
