There are a few other book clubs out there, but not many in the NW corner of the city. I struggled to find one that was just for women and had spots available at their upcoming events. So, I started my own group. I'm also hoping to expand beyond the monthly book discussions. It would be great to meet other women that are interested in dinners, wine tasting, etc. in the city or in the surrounding suburbs. I'm in my mid-30's so I titled the group 30s (ish). We're a book discussion group for people in their 20s and 30s. We meet the third Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at Bartlett Public Library in Bartlett, IL. The discussion is led by one of our Adult & Teen Services Librarians. The books are available one month prior to each discussion at the reference desk.
