This group is for anyone who loves reading books that involve vampires, werewolves, fairies, witches and anything that goes bump in the night but is extremely sexy while doing so. (V.A.M.P. - Vampires And More Paranormals) We will mainly be discussing new releases, favorite authors and favorite series of books. At the end of every meeting we will discuss book suggestions for future group meetings. The books that we will be reading can be "adult - PG13-R" in topic so members must be 18+ years o …
This is a book club that is deriving from my love for reading books from black expressions over the last few years. I love to read and what I am missing is having people to dialogue with about the book. Even though the books that will be read will be through Black Expressions, we are open to other books. This is an OPEN group for all interested people. We will meet every other week to discuss the book. I will choose the first 3 books and then we will rotate a book amongst the members. The meetin …

This is a slightly different book club than others in the area. This book club aims to combine a love of reading and spirited discussion with a desire to help support the local Dahlonega restaurant community. The group will meet once a month in a restaurant to discuss the current book over a glass of wine or a favorite pint of beer. Men and women, single or attached, drinkers and non-drinkers; all are welcome! Bring your spouse, your friends, or just come out alone for an evening of books and bo …

Hello my fellow Diva's! My name is LaTangela, and I started this book club for women that love to read, have fun, and meet new people. We will meet once a month over dinner or brunch at a local restaurant to discuss books, socialize, laugh, enjoy eachother, and most importantly, have fun. This book club is about sisterhood: supporting and uplifting one another. Oh, but it doesn't stop there, we step away from the books for a moment to have a lil fun doing other things. We also get together for a …

This is a group of women in their mid-to-late 20's and 30's meeting to discuss best-selling fiction (with a little chick-lit thrown in!) while socializing with new people. We'll be meeting once a month on a Sunday afternoon to drink coffee, tea, or wine at a cafe in the Perimeter area while we enjoy each other's company and discuss the latest books. So take a break from your jobs, leave the guys at home, and come join a great group of women once a month for some great conversation and fun!
Welcome to the Hindi Bindi book club! The focus will be reading books written by South Asian authors or books about south asia. The books will either be written in English or be translated in English. This is a great opportunity to connect to other South East Asians and learn more about that part of the world. You by no means have to be from South East Asia, just willing to learn. Please email me if you have any questions or concerns. Looking forward to meeting you!! Bhavna
Meet new friends and share your love of reading and books. Each month the group will select a book to read for the next month's meeting at the shop.
… I plan to use Paul Gravett's Graphic Novels as a main source for book selection, though would consider any suggestions along the way.

This is a group for women in their 20s and 30s who love reading Young Adult Literature! I'm looking to put together a small book-chat group (under ten people) of ladies like me who love to read romance novels, and who would like to get out of the house now and again to talk to other adults! We'll meet at various East Cobb restaurants every other Friday at 11 AM, hang out, and discuss a selected romance novel. We can also dish about other things we're reading, watching, and obsessing over. In time, I hope the group develops into a supportive and fun network of friends. If this sound …

I'm starting this group because one of my New Years resolutions was to start reading the classics, from Epic of Gilgamesh to The Iliad to Pride and Prejudice to Slaughterhouse Five. All the truly great pieces of literature that I've missed. I thought it would be much more fun to have a group reading together so that we could discuss and delve into the books (or just meet for coffee and talk about whether we like the book or not). I belong to other book clubs for modern literature, but the cla …
We are a group of geeky women in our in the Gwinnett/Mall of Georgia area. This is for friendship with similar minded geek girls to get together, chat, do things, who knows? It is so hard to find mature, geeky women and some women might not even realize they are geeks. We tend to be just a little different from other women and often times when we open our mouths we get strange looks because of what comes out. While some women squee over Capt. Jack Sparrow, when we hear of a Capt. Jack, we immedi …

I teach M-Th and have many family obligations evenings and weekends. I would love to meet up with folks for a morning book club. We'll meet one Friday morning a month at an East Cobb restaurant for brunch and a book chat. Titles a bit more sophisticated than Harlequin Romances (not that there's anything wrong with that!) but not so complex and "heady" that your brain has to hurt while reading it. Members will be encouraged to take turns selecting books and restaurants.
