Hi! I wanted to join a book club that consistently offered great reads. It was hard to find. I set the goal once for myself to read every book that has won a Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. If you are interested in discussing great reads, let's get together.

This group is for Jacksonville area ladies who are interested in books, beer, and meeting new people. Since the area draws a lot of new-in-towners, this is a great spot to not only explore a new brewery or restaurant venue, but also meet others who might be new in town or just looking to broaden their horizons. At our Junto meetings, I envision that we'll discuss ethics, politics and philosophy. I envision that the meeting will be conducted in the sincere spirit of inquiry after truth. I recently watched the film version of Pride and Prejudice, and enjoyed it so much I started re-reading the book and watching other Austen movies, including Sense and Sensibility and the recent "The Jane Austen Book Club." I thought it might be fun to join up with other Austen fans in Jax, and perhaps structure a Book Club similar to the one in the film.
