Hello! Welcome to the Book Worms! We are a group of Christian women of all ages who love to read. We started as a small group from Flatirons Church and have grown to include ladies from all over the north Denver area. We get together the last Sunday of the month (usually) to eat dinner and chat about the book selection. Our ages range from the youngest at 26 to a few ladies who are in their mid-fifties. This age range makes for good discussions! We would love to have you join us!

I decided to start this group because I love hiking and I love book clubs. This meetup has all the activity of hiking and the great conversations of a book club in one! We read a book, and discuss it during a hike near Boulder. Our hikes are generally easy to moderate, and about 3 miles in length. Feel free to join us even if you haven't finished (or started) the book, but we may spoil the ending! The books are usually literary fiction, but we branch our occasionally. I avoid beach reading, s …

Do you love reading parenting books (or at least skimming them in the bookstore) for inspiration? I've found that stumbling on the right book can sometimes be just the juice I need to get re-invigorated about my job as a mom. Whether I find a parenting book that freshens and focuses my perspective or one that just gets on my nerves, I always receive the benefit of considering my own practices and tuning in more closely to my children's experience of home and family and life and me. I'm excited t …

This book club is for folks whose taste in works runs toward the literary, idiosyncratic, or experimental. This is a new book club looking to read and discuss serious literature. We're talking tantalizing plot, often world-renowned works of art--the kind that is hard to read on your own outside of a college class. Though we are mostly targeting savvy lit-lovers in their 20's and 30's, anyone who is looking to get down with Faulkner and his posse is highly invited to our hangouts. Seriously. Come join us as we occasionally get intellecutally drunk (it's a thing), wear monocles and potentially discuss …

To put it simply, we read fantastic books (well, we might eventually have a few duds, but usually they are great :), have a good time, and enjoy great …

This is a group for anyone interested in the folklore of any area of the world, from Native American to Scandinavian to Japanese, to urban fantasy that supposedly takes place today. Skeptics are welcome, but it would be nice to meet people with an honest belief or passion for folklore/faeries. This is not a spiritual group seeking "nature spirits" for healing or anything of the like, simply a club for the curious and possibly adventurous. This is leaning towards a social group rather than a seri …
