This group is for PROGRESSIVE, OPEN-MINDED women ages 45+ who love to read and discuss books of all genres. It's a group for sharing and socializing about literature and our lives. We get together once a month in Oceanside, eat, have a little wine or tea, discuss the book and sometimes other stuff.

  Our original group Book Lovers Never Go To Bed Alone was so popular I decided to start a second chapter so we wouldn't get to big and not be fun anymore. Just like the first group, this group is for PROGRESSIVE, OPEN-MINDED women ages 45+ who love to read and discuss books of all genres. It's a group for sharing and socializing about literature and our lives. We get together once a month in Oceanside, discuss the book and sometimes other stuff.

You don't have to live in Carmel Valley or Del Mar to join - and you don't even have to read the book. All you have to do is want to read the book and show up. Are you a busy mom? Lonely, overworked single? Retired volunteer spread thin? Gym bunny looking to exercise your mind? No matter who you are, lets pick some good reads, get as far with them as we can, and meet up for good food, drink and discussion - oh, yeah - and good friendships, too!

We will practice meditation and breathing used to help reduce stress. We will use Ilchi Lee's book, The Call of Sedona, as a guide and tool for meditation techniques. Welcome anyone whom is interested in learning about energy and how the body reacts to these techniques.
