We are a group of women who live in Pasadena/South Pasadena, love to read good literature (modern and classics) and enjoy making new friends. We meet each month at a different member's home for an evening of appetizers, socializing and book discussion.  

Our Meetup group began in summer 2007, and while our members represent a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, we all share a passion for books. Most members are from the San Fernando or San Gabriel Valleys. We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at a different member's home for an evening of socializing and book discussion. The Tasty Book Club pairs good books with good food. We read a variety of genres: silly books, smart books, memoirs, literary fiction and, yes, we even once read a book about werewolves.
