Our Meetup group began in summer 2007, and while our members represent a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, we all share a passion for books. Most members are from the San Fernando or San Gabriel Valleys. We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at a different member's home for an evening of socializing and book discussion. We currently have a few spaces open for new members. If you'd like to join our group, please submit a membership request.

The purpose of this group will be to share our experiences with Eckhart Tolle's books and workshops as well as to discuss ways of incorporating this principles into our daily lives. I would love to gather with other adult women book lovers and expand our comfort zone in our reading selection.  I think in order to find common ground - ideal age would be between 30-60 years. This group will meet once a month and have a different genre of literature to read from and rate when we meet. Book selection is open for suggestion.

Rough Drafts is a Toastmasters club dedicated to written communication in addition to oral communication. Meetings include writing exercises, discussion of writing and publishing, and once a month the club theme is a book-group style discussion. We welcome guests at any time. This is a good club for Toastmasters with a passion for the written word.
