The Black Expressions Book Club focuses on African American literature. Come out and make new friends, have lively discussions and FUN in the San Gabriel Valley area.

Our Meetup group began in summer 2007, and while our members represent a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, we all share a passion for books. Most members are from the San Fernando or San Gabriel Valleys. We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at a different member's home for an evening of socializing and book discussion. We currently have a few spaces open for new members. If you'd like to join our group, please submit a membership request.
