We are a group of women who live in Pasadena/South Pasadena, love to read good literature (modern and classics) and enjoy making new friends. We meet each month at a different member's home for an evening of appetizers, socializing and book discussion.  

Our Meetup group began in summer 2007, and while our members represent a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, we all share a passion for books. Most members are from the San Fernando or San Gabriel Valleys. We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at a different member's home for an evening of socializing and book discussion. This group was created to bring together individuals who read books for substance and ideas. If you want a book club where we pick a book, have an outlined discussion and only talk about the book, this is not it! Most BOOK clubs are of the "You must read this specific book to hang out with us" variety.
