sew make believe is a Warwickshire-based sewing, craft and book club. We meet fortnightly on a Wednesday night in Leamington at 8pm-10pm. The structured meetups take the form of workshops, where you can learn a new skill or project and the casual meetups are sit 'n' sews (or come 'n' crafts - you don't have to sew!) which allow you to work on your latest project. Every couple of months, we have a book club discussion. See sew …

I want to get on top of my writing this year (read: stop thinking about doing it, and cross over into the realm of *hushed tones* actually writing), and am hoping that others want to do the same. Whether you are into blogging, journalism, feature writing, non-fiction or fiction, the aim is to have somewhere to meet up with other like-minded people about it. This isn't a formal meeting, just an informal place where writers can bring along pieces to get advice or encouragement on, where we can dis …
… The "Real Love" principles are described in a series of books written by Dr. Greg Baer which are available for purchase at www.realloveuk.com. Often we are too close to a problem to clearly see our choices. The groups help to get to the heart of every issue you bring and will leave you feeling calm, peaceful, supported and with a clear …

I first came to know of her when I discovered a book she had written whilst I browsed the shelves of an Oxfam bookshop in Harborne, way back in 2005. Give yourself the time and space to work through …

Suggestions can be posted on the discussion board in the first instance, or emailed to the Organiser. The majority of events are likely to take place during evenings and weekends. We will do our best to keep t …
