Although called Caversham Critics, this book group is open to all friendly Reading based fiction lovers. We shall explore old and modern classics, contemporary fiction, and perhaps even pretend to be judges by comparing our notes on the shortlists for the big literary prizes. We aim to meet monthly in a pub in central Reading. We are just getting started, so if the club sounds like your cup of tea, don't hesitate, join and spread the word!

We recently moved to Maidenhead and I miss my old book group. Ironically now I have a longer commute I have more time to actually read! We have been studying Napoleon Hill's book Think and Grow Rich for a year and realised that it would be great to mastermind with more like-minded people. The purpose of the group is to gain an in-depth understanding of the methods that are detailed in the book.
