Hi All, Since I could not locate any book clubs in the south eastern area around Narre Warren, I thought I should set one up. I am not too fussed about the exact suburb. There will hopefully be sufficient people who want to catch up on anything reading.
A group of women who read and discuss classics literature over a glass of wine in the St Kilda area. If you're like me and have a long list of un-read classics, please come along. To kick off, we will read Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities. We will decide how to select the remaining books for the year at the first meeting in April. Please bring your list of must-read classics to the April meeting. Happy reading.
We are a new book club, that is interested in attracting like-minded members who have a passion for reading! We plan to choose a different book each month to review, and meet up to discuss it in detail! Whilst the main aim of this group is to discuss the books we are reading, it's also about meeting new people, and having fun! The group will meet at "The Sporting Club Hotel" which has a great atmosphere (not too busy), tasty food, cool drinks, and plenty of nooks and crannies to discuss books in …

Book club for those who reside in Docklands, would like to meet up to discuss books and drink wine.
We meet monthly to discuss the book or books of the month. As the name suggests, the meetings will be around the Fitzroy - Collingwood area, somewhere we can enjoy a beer, wine or coffee too! No limits on genre, if the book is good we'll give it a go. We have a pretty good mix of people so usually lots of interesting discussion and opinions but nothing too serious. You can always get a few recommendations for a new book or two! A book club is a great way to meet new people if you are new in …
New to Melbourne? Or just want to discuss great books with like minded friends? This group was started because there's nothing better than sharing a great book. Come to laugh, have fun and exchange stories over a glass or two! From the humble beginnings of a few avid readers meeting once a month in London in 2008, The Girly Book Club network now extends around the world and would be delighted to welcome you, wherever you are!
A group for girls who love books, who'd like to meet, make friends with other Melbourne gals & get together on a regular basis to discuss various types of literature and what ever else takes our fancy. Venues will vary but generally take place in centrally located cafes, bars & restaurants (maybe even a picnic in a park when the weather permits). Basically anywhere we can enjoy some nice food / wine/ coffee and have a good natter! Meetups held monthly (preferably on a weekend afternoon). No lim …

This book club is for people in their 20-30's who love to read and meet new people. We meet at a local pub, usually around St Kilda area to discuss the book over a cold beverage.
This group is currently closed to new members as we are at capacity. If you would like to join, please check back in a few months as I will reopen if attendance at meetups drops. I decided to start a book club as I couldn't find a book group around the west that interested me. The group is fairly democratic (I hope the members would agree) and whilst I'm happy to be the organiser I don't see myself as a facilitator or want to be the one making all of the decisions. The group will meet on th …
Hey there, Welcome to Possibly the Best Book Club You'll Ever Join*. Sanna and I are both in our twenties, relatively new to Melbourne, and love books. We also both happen to love cats, seafood and potatoes. We met at a bookclub last year and bonded over the thought that we could do it better. This is the end result of that fateful meeting. We'll be reading primarily fiction (unless some unputdownable non-fiction crops up) and we'll be meeting once a month at the Rail Hotel in Windsor. It's go …

Hi there my fellow Muggle!
I'm super excited that there's one more fan out there who's got some Potter love inside them. I'll just tell you a few things about this awesome group so you know what to expect.
We've been around since the beginning of Potter fandom. The group was started up by an incredible lady named Shannon on October 9, 2002 and over the years the main organisation of the meetups has since been passed on to other …

Together the book club will tackle the ripping Victorian tale, The Mystery of a Hansom Cab written by English writer Fergus Hume in 1886. The Light in Winter program is directed by Robyn Archer and this year is inspired by the National Year of the Reading and will celebrate the enlightenment that reading sheds on our lives. Literary texts, oral traditions, calligr …

Hi to the 1% of the population out there that are INTJ For a long time now, I've been searching for people who think the same way as I do and were interested in the same things as I am. I was starting to think I was a one of a kind. Then I realized that we are the rarest of the 16 personality types – some say the rarest - estimated to make up only around 1% of the population. So if your a INTJ then please join the group and we can do anything anyone suggest because we all think the same any …
